Sonia Garcia Sleeger is a self-taught Abstract Artist from Southern California. She works mainly in Acrylics, Alcohol Inks and different mediums to create a unique style of Contemporary Art on canvas. She found her creative side while caring for a relative with Dementia/Alzheimer's - it was her personal therapeutic way of helping her cope with being a care giver. Sonia stated "I have found such joy in painting from the thought process and inspiration to that first moment you put the paint onto canvas. I often ask myself "where will this painting take me." Being able to create something from a single thought is a glorious thing! Sonia currently has her artwork on display at Gallery Soho, Montclair, CA. She belongs to the Pomona Valley Art Association, Riverside Community Art Association and the Latino Art Museum, Pomona, CA.

Hope in the House by Justin Fabus

Pittsburgh native and rising country music star, Justin Fabus, is excited and honored to donate an original piece of artwork to the RMHC "Hope Lives Here" Art Auction! As a singer and songwriter, Justin finds art through his music. Named one of 2017 CMA's "Emerging Artists", Justin's music can be found on iTunes. Justin's single "Run" is currently available. His EP called "The Aftermath" comes out August 19.

McIntyre by Nancy McIntyre

According to Nancy, "My art is now about color: lots and lots of color. When people view my art, I want them to experience the vibrancy of life and the joy and freedom expressed in my paintings. I start painting on a wet canvas. I pour colors, letting them blend and move. I then use brush work to continue to build layers of color. The piece might evolve in an hour, or it may require layers and layers over a month's time. Every piece is an experiment in movement, color, and light. My hope is that the end product will bring joy to your life, and possibly even a smile!"
